Whether enjoying the delicacies of classical music or the power of cinematic soundtracks, listeners do not only seek to experience the origial sound but also to recreate the emotional timbre.
Together with the aluminium-sandwich drivers, the famous JET tweeter with its folded foil diaphragm brings an entire world of sound to life, making music a sensual experience.

100 Series                   Specifications

In the living room, quality depends not only on reproduced musical excellence, but also on the physical presence of the loudspeakers: they should be beautiful, technically perfect, and - affordable. The new 100 Series combines all these merits.

Newly developed 140mm bass/midrange drivers with shiny aluminium-sandwich membranes, and the new tweeter HT 25 KST IV of ELAC's in-house production optimise the technically well-thought-out concept.

High-quality driver systems guarantee reliable operational safety even at high loads. All loudspeakers are magnetically shielded (except subwoofer) and protected against overload.

An optical highlight for every taste. Subwoofer, centre speaker, bookshelf speakers and floorstanders are offered in four different finishes:
beech/silver, cherry, matt black, and silver.

50 Series                   Specifications

When developing the 50 series, ELAC engineers designed a totally new series of loudspeakers that go far beyond the ordinary, offering better performance than others in their price range. The components provide natural and realistic hi-fi sound and outstanding surround features. The characteristic feature of this new series is the design of the loudspeaker baffle that is presented in the new colour titan metallic in cabinets of cherry and graphite maple.

The new in-wall loudspeakers with powerful driver systems provide consistent performance and balance for all applications from stereo to home cinema. ELAC in-wall loudspeakers harmonize perfectly with loudspeakers of other ELAC series.

Accessories, including an installation template and compact assembly dimensions enable easy and flexible installation.

Imago - Distributed Mode Loudspeaker                   Specifications

They hang on the wall and look like normal pictures; however, they are absolutely novel hi-fi loudspeakers. Responsible for the sound are two ELAC NXT exciters which fixed on the back of the panel. Compared to conventional loudspeakers, the panel speakers radiate sound at a wider angle and more homogeneously, thus enlarging the optimum listening area distinctly. The new panel speakers 'Imago' are used as normal hi-fi loudspeakers. They are also suitable for home cinema applications, e.g. as rear speakers.

The 'singing pictures' are offered in 2 different sizes (50 × 40 cm and 70 × 50 cm).

Selection of Pictures:
The music and art lover may select among numerous prints with famous motifs from the world of art, in close cooperation with the Poster-Shop in Recklinghausen/Germany. The sophisticated prints are laminated onto the panels and worked into picture speakers.

To round the sound off, ELAC's new panels can be combined with any standards subwoofer. Optimum bass support is provided by ELAC's compact graceful subwoofer SUB 303 ESP.

Picture loudspeakers use a new technology called DML - Distributed Mode Loudspeaker. This technology produces sound by exciting large surfaces (panels) as membranes with special transducers - the so-called exciters.

For a practical but also 'ambience-friendly' loudspeaker setup ELAC offers individuell mounting and tuning options. Thus by means of wall brackets or stands, every compact monitor can be adapted ideally to any room. This is a must especially for multichannel systems since due to the larger number of speakers the aesthetics may suffer from the requirements of an acoustically efficient setup.
